Begun in late 2021, Chess is a tentatively-titled, ongoing collaboration between Cora Freyer and Johnny Beaver. Although elements of this are still evolving, work thus far has consisted inglorious games of chess simultaneously documented in paint and sonic media. More information about this project is forthcoming, but for now I offer a reel demonstrating some initial work that was produced for the Soundbox5 festival in Corvallis Oregon.
